Bottle Drive

Thank you to everyone who helped us collect and sort recyclables, as well as those who donated
bottles and cans.We raised $370.13. We'll probably
hold another collection this fall. :)


We'll be out collecting recyclable bottles and cans in August to raise money for the playground. If you have any piling up in the basement or garage you can drop them off at the APM Centre in Cornwall on Saturday August 25. We'll have a truck in the parking lot from 9 until noon and some volunteers to help you unload them. We also plan to go door to door in the community and would appreciate lots of help collecting recyclables. They'll then be hauled to the bottle exchange for cash which will go toward our playground fund for the children in Uganda.

One of the easiest ways you can help us raise funds is to buy gift cards. You receive the full amount of the card to buy stuff and we get money from retailers through the Fundscrip program to put toward the purchase of playground equipment for kids in Uganda. We have cards for gas, groceries and most of your favorite restaurant and stores. Contact Sherry @213-1224.

Pennies For Playground

Almost $300 collected so far in our penny buckets!!!

Help us build a playground for children in Uganda by donating pennies. The Royal Canadian Mint will stop making the penny this fall and we're asking you to donate all of those pennies lying around your home or in the change tray in your vehicle. All pennies collected will be used for the purchase of playground equipment to be erected in Uganda in May 2013. For a drop off location call Sherry @ 213-1224.
