Africa!

Wow... we arrived safe and sound... tired but so happy to be here. Considering that the past two nights have been onboard a plane, tonight in a bed will seem so wonderful! So far the count on MIRACLES is 23! Well, I might have missed a few but at least 23... the first 22 were that all 22 bags arrived safe and sound... a couple of dings on some luggage but all the things you and we gathered to bring to the children are here an intact. I think most of the team was more concerned that the team luggage arrived than their own personal luggage! Tomorrow we will take the first of the things to the babies as we visit Bulrushes Saturday afternoon.... this is Friday, isn't it?

We were met at the airport by Sam and Paul who will be our guides for the week. They have been fantastic and so patient with all our questions. Today we went to the money exchange and got our first shillings... then went to the food court for lunch. That was an experience! More details to come.

The other miracle is that we breezed through customs and immigration. I mean breezed... they stamped our visas and told us to just walk through... out to the vehicles! Amazing.

Rejoice with us that we have begun this part of the journey.
