The bank balance in our Watoto Mission Fund is certainly something to smile about; $26,752.02.

I want to thank everyone for their money, support and encouragement.
We need a total of $30 000 to pay for construction of a home for eight orphans and a house mother.
We have a few more events planned to help us reach our goal. You can check out the 'DatesTo Remember' section of the blog. And we've added a 'Make A Donation' button to this blog, and our Living Hope Ministries web site for anyone who would like to make an online donation.
Team members are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. There are fourteen of us traveling to Uganda; Chad, Nancy, Peter, Alicia, Patsy, Sarah, Emily, Ingrid, Dorothy, Stephen, John, Sherry, Lise and Denice. We are meeting regularly, and hope to soon have a photo of the Long Creek Team.
This will be the first time flying for some team members; for others it will be their first trip out of the country. Please pray for them, as well as the people of Uganda. If you wish to help out a team member financially please talk to Cassandra. cassy_murphy@hotmail.com
We are in the process of completing our travel arrangements. We are looking for volunteers to drive team members and their luggage to and from Halifax International Airport. We fly out of Halifax in the afternoon on Wednesday April 30. We return to Halifax around midnight on Friday May 16. If you’d like to help get team members to or from Halifax airport please talk to Sherry. sherrylynnewedlake@yahoo.ca
Do you have a guitar gathering dust in the corner? The mission team is looking for two ‘playable’ guitars, and cases to take with them to Africa. We’re not looking for loaners. We plan to use the guitars to worship during our stay, and leave the instruments with our Ugandan hosts. Please speak to John jxwedlak@hotmail.com if this is something you can help us with.
We also plan to take soccer balls, soccer jerseys, baby items, and school supplies. We have a list of things the Watoto ministry needs. If you would like to purchase something from the list to send to Africa talk to Peter petermacneill@hotmail.com.
