I'll be the first to admit that I love to eat. And I really enjoy sharing a meal with family and friends. It's one of the great memories I have of Africa; sitting down to a meal with the rest of the build team.

That's why I am excited about a unique event we are launching next month to raise money for our next Watoto build.

We are planning a series of international meals. These are small gatherings; a chance to spend a relaxing evening and enjoy some delicious food from another country. Only twenty tickets are available for each meal at a cost of $20 each. Here's what we have lined up so far.

August - Israel
September - Kenya
October - Belize

Another Brick In The Wall

We'll soon be selling bricks to build a miniature version of a Watoto home. For a donation of $10 you can buy a brick for the mini home.

We'll post a picture of it once we sell a few blocks. Right now it's just a foundation. And if you are interested in taking the mini home to your church group or service club, contact us and we'll make arrangements.

Would you pay a dollar to help build a house for eight beautiful orphans? I sure would. Imagine if every Prince Edward Islander answered yes to that question!

We'd have enough money to build several houses! Interesting concept. We'll fill you in more once we work out the details.
